Do you have family here? I’ve been living here for one and a half year. I only have one sister here, the rest of my family is in Vietnam. How do you like it so far? It’s ok, the work is tough but I’m glad that I have a job and able to earn money. Why did you choose to work here? The agency originally put me in Czech Republic, but I was unable to find work due to a large number of workers there. I work here just like many other Vietnamese workers. It’s the best job that
we could find for now. How often do you work? How many day off do you have? I work everyday from 10am-2am. There is no such thing as day off for this kind of work. My store open all year round even during Christmas and New Year. I can’t afford to take a day off There are at least 40 other Vietnamese stores like mine in this city. Your Polish is quite fluent; where did you learn it? I’ve never went through school or had a proper education. I learned Polish from the street and at home when I have free time. I don’t have time or money for a real education here What is your future plan? What are your dreams or wishes? I just want to earn enough money and return home as soon as I can to start a new life there.
