Source: http://www.doksinet David Gruber (*1955) is called „the first among lecturers and coaches“ on the area of former Czechoslovakia. In 1984, he upgraded a disorderly cluster of managerial soft skills to a serious scientific discipline with its peculiar subject, methodology, classification system, publications and teaching. He called this discipline „mental work ways“, later on „beneopedics“. He invented a world-new approach to solving personal development challenges – the psychoformulas® or multimethods (instead of classic methods). David Gruber became famous especially by his two educational TV series, each of them consisting of 10 sequels: Speed Reading Training (1986), Time Management and Computers (1988). In these series, he was author of the idea, script and he also was the performer. He is unparalleled in the Czech Republic in amount of guided trainings (over 1 000 trainings all over the country since 1983), in amount of sold books (over 1 million and 50

thousand pieces of 57 classic paper titles altogether) and sold press releases in his branch (over 70 million pieces about him and his work, over 200 million pieces of his own). Nowadays, he is similarly well-known on the internet, see e. g “David Gruber” on youtube.com He is the author of more than 40 well sold audio books and e-books, offered e.g on amazonde, audiotekacz, palmknihycz, audiotekapl, grubercz etc Because of totalitarian isolation from the western world, he had to invent, verify and popularize all his methods, his profession, his branch, his science (= beneopedics) and his peculiar market service (= a soft skills short term training) himself. Nothing similar existed in former totalitarian Czechoslovakia until 1989. After the Czechoslovak Velvet revolution, in the 90s, a comparison between David Gruber´s know-how and top western (esp. American) managerial and soft skills gurus took place. It came publicly out, that the Gruber´s know-how is – in several important

respects much more developed During the last 25 years, David Gruber beats all the American gurus in amount of sold books, in the value and attractiveness of his trainings on the Czech market. The Czech professional public consider his multimethods to be a full generalization of all the previous, current, and possible future methods in the area. A manager or any other mentally working person, knowing and applying multimethods, is able to derive all the existing and future methods in area of beneopedics (= all the soft skills, everything concerning communication, psychology of information and studying, self-improvement, transferable skills, business soft skills etc.) The multimethods are considered as a positive breakthrough in area of soft skills, as a great saving of person´s time and energy on the way to a self-development and selfimprovement, to a life success. Source: http://www.doksinet FAQ: What´s the reason of Gruber´s superiority? David Gruber (later also DG for short) was

one of the biggest multidisciplinary talent in his youth from the 60s. During his senior high school studies (1970-74), he ranked the best places in scales of the same age young people not only in maths and physic, but also in linguistics, psychology, creative writing and thinking etc. – simply in vast majority of the school subjects. Then, after his A levels (= finishing of the senior high school in 1974, in his age of 19), he was banned to study any university. The reason was that his father rejected the Soviet occupation of former Czechoslovakia in 1968 and David Gruber (DG) himself rejected to join the totalitarian Communist party (which tortured and killed people). The vast majority of Czech young people was enabled to study university, because only very few of them or of their parents had courage to resistance against the oppressive regime. If DG had studied officially, if DG had been allowed to make a university career, he would surely become a leading university professor,

being allowed to travel abroad, to take part in international scientific conferences, symposiums etc. – and he would be world-famous now Thus, he is famous only in area of the Czech Republic, more famous than the American managerial gurus (like D. Carnegie, S R Covey, P Kotler, T Buzan, L Babauta, D Allen etc) and he is still waiting for a world manager who puts into effect his know-how fully worldwide. Which schools has David Gruber graduated on, when he was banned to study any university just after his A levels? The doors of the best Czech universities seemed to be closed for DG forever. After long hesitation and defiance of academic authorities, DG was admitted to a (at that time) low-grade Czech technical university. Not because of the best study score in the senior high school and the entrance interview, but because of strike threat. The director of DG´s senior high school warned the technical university managers (all of them Communist party members): “If you don´t admit

David Gruber, the whole staff of our high school comes out on strike.” The enormous scandal threatened to the technical university. And a long years imprisoning threatened to the brave high school director and his staff. A strike was considered as an awful crime during the totalitarian era. Source: http://www.doksinet So, DG was admitted to study eventually. The technical university was low-graded, however, with one exceptionally high-graded study specialization “management or leading of interdisciplinary teams”. After 5 years of studying, DG graduated in this specialization with the master degree, with honors, with the percentile 99-100%. Later on (1982-84), he was admitted to absolve the post-graduate university studies in pedagogic and psychology. These studies were comparable to a common doctor´s degree However, DG couldn´t get the title. All the levels above the master degree were reserved only for totalitarian Communist party members. Thus, DG had to educate by

teaching himself. As a self-taught, he mastered many distant disciplines on a master or doctor´s level (unofficially, but really and properly): Pedagogic, psychology, sociology, neurophysiology, economy, linguistics, philology, cybernetics, maths and statistics, physic, history, geography, chemistry, law , journalism etc. It enabled him to use his own FARMULTI method. Strictly speaking – in his brain, there is an interdisciplinary team of various specialists (see above), working and inventing multimethods, psychoformulas. The difference between methods and multimethods is analogical to the difference between a classic mechanic typewriter and modern IT set (notebook, Smartphone, printer, scanner and copier). The classic typewriter´s possibilities in text processing are limited The modern IT set´s possibilities in text and information processing are technically complex. The possibilities of classic methods are limited. The possibilities of DG´s multimethod are psychologically

complex. Why didn´t DG travel out after 1989, when freedom and possibility to travel came into Czechoslovakia and Czech Republic? The Velvet Revolution in 1989 didn´t really destroyed or suppressed the old totalitarian structures, influence groups, cliques. For example, DG leads seminars his own subject “communication and rhetoric” at the prestigious University of Economy in Prague. Because of multimethods, the demand is much bigger that the capacity of the seminar. In this only case, students have to wait, to queue a half a year or longer to get there, to attend this seminar. Their feedback is enthusiastic and in superlatives as well Despite, DG rests on the lowest ranking level among the university teacher (assistant level), he is not allowed to represent the university on international professional encounters. The obstacle are the old structures (many of the former biggest supporters of the former totalitarian regime are university professors and influential representatives

of the school now). Nobody from the old structures proposes to award DG as honorary professor. For the old structures, DG represents their bad conscience; the only abide him as an officially inconsiderable teacher. And if DG attempted to travel abroad, e.g to USA, on its own costs, as a private person? Nobody would take him seriously as a top expert in USA etc. Nobody in a common civilized country would believe, that something like this is possible in civilized Europe now in Source: http://www.doksinet the 21st century. Something like keeping the most read author and most popular educator away from the international scientific life. What are the most striking Gruber’s inventions and discoveries? 1. The Professional Concentration Psychoformula (or multimethod), which also represents the complex final solution of procrastination problem 2. The Subconscious Opposition Psychoformula 3. The Recalling and Recognizing Memory Psychoformula 4. The Psychical Relativity Theory (in the Czech

press releases compared to the Einstein’s physical one) 5. The Psychoformula „things happen from reasons“ 6. The Time Management of the Top Generation (The SOUSTO multimethod) and more than a dozen of another psychoformulas. All the existing and future soft skills could be assembled basically from these cornerstones. Only their proportions vary (The Gruber´s discoveries of psychoformulas is compared to the Mendeleev´s discovery of periodic table. The periodic table brings system and solves the structure of all the elements. The main corner-stones are proton, electron and neutron here Only their proportions vary. Analogically, the Gruber´s psychoformulas (= multimethods) bring system and solve the structure, the content of all the managerial soft skills.)
