1.  How can you register on the site?
You need a valid e-mail address (valid means existing, not full, etc.) to register, and you have to choose a user name that's not yet used in the system. You can initiate the registration process by submitting the registration form. If the system accepts registration, you are going to get an email to the address you specified. In the activation mail there's going to be a link – please click on it to activate the account. You have 2 days for this. Please note that inactive users cannot login to the site, that's why they cannot download. Doksi reserves the right to send an email at most every month to notify the users about our partner's offers, new features or changes in the Terms of usage. This e-mail is also used to check whether the address is still valid. Please note that if your e-mail address proves to be invalid anytime, we delete your account without notice.

2.  How and when would the membership be discontinued?
Membership couldn't be terminated by the user because of misuse, so please ask for this at our forum or in email. The account is suspended if the administrator disabled the account for some reason. In this case you get an error message while you try to log in, containing the reason and date of disabling. Typical reasons: downloading above the daily limit by using more than one account; trying to hack the site; spamming. If you don't agree with being disabled, please tell us in email.
Membership terminates if an email that we send you is bounced, for example because your inbox is full. If you change your email address you use frequently, please update this at our site after logging in. We also discontinue your membership if you don't login for 90 days.

3.  Why do we have ads on the site?
Maintaining the site needs not just work, but also money. So if you want to use our site for free, please don't use an ad-blocker. Thank you!

4.  How can you download?
Every document is available in PDF format.
The most important rule about downloading is, that you can download 25 documents daily, with one account per computer. If you use more accounts on one computer to bypass this limit, we disable all your accounts without notice.

5.  How can you upload?
Use the Upload section to transfer documents to our server. These documents are prefiltered and published by an automated process from time to time. Editors check the copyright circumstances and the look and feel of the uploads randomly.

6.  Where are the documents originated from?
Documents that can be downloaded from the site are uploaded by visitors. The copyright circumstances of the uploads are checked regularly. If you find anything that's protected by copyright, or your own work – and you don't want to publish it this way, please tell to the administrator!

7.  Our Privacy Policy
Doksi won't give any of the user data to a third person. We don't store sensitive data in our databases without encryption and passwords are stored using a so called one way hash method, that's why we can't tell you your forgotten password – we can only generate a new one randomly. Personal data is handled according to the EU's new data protection regulation (GDPR), to provide better quality services to all of our users. These personal data: e-mail address, gender, age, IP-address. Personal data will be erased on-demand or when the user account is terminated.

Ads presented on the site are served by external companies, so we won't take any responsibility for them. These companies may use some data (but they can't use your name, e-mail, address or phone number) about your visit here or other sites to serve appropriate (by your interest) ads. Should you need further information about this practice, and to prevent these companies to use this information, please contact the certain company.
