The Vessel Accounting module can be used to access AX reports as well as Offline Reports (reports with old format). The Imaging module, on the other hand, can be used to search for the location of Accounting-related documents. It can also be used to check whether all documents related to a particular report have been uploaded into the system through another application. This document will guide the users on how to properly use the modules under the Vessel Accounting and Imaging menus. Figure 3-1 1 2 Name of User Main Toolbar 3 Main Menu Displays the user name currently logged in.
This menu displays several functions. • HELP & FAQ - This contains different help topics on how to navigate the system. • Change Password – This allows the user to change his password. • Terms & Conditions – This contains the Wallem Portal’s Terms of Use, Intellectual Property Rights and Disclaimer. • Privacy Policy – This displays Wallem Portal’s Privacy Policy. • Log Off – This allows the user to logout of the system. These are the main features of the application found on the left pane. • Menu headings can be minimized/maximized using minimize or maximize buttons. The Main Menu can be minimized or closed using minimize & close buttons to achieve maximum screen space in viewing reports. Bars usually placed at right or bottom side of each window to allow user to view all its contents. Move the scroll bar by dragging it to the desired direction either vertically or horizontally. These are sub tasks for each main feature. By default, upon launching of

You may either choose criteria from a list or enter data in provided fields. For a more detailed discussion of the Search Engines, please refer to the specific modules. Note • • To view a complete list, click Search button without specifying criteria. For some criteria, a pick list is provided for easy selection. Access to both applications and their modules will be established in MSS. Credentials should be the same account used for network log on The system will require the login credentials to be supplied in the form of User
name and Password. Figure 4-1 4.1 Steps to Login 1. Open an Internet Browser 2. Go to the Wallem Portal site http://portalwallemcom 3. Enter your User name and Password supplied by WIS 4. Click the Log On button 5. Select either module, Vessel Accounting or Imaging, under the Account (Reports) Menu. 6. Chosen module’s menu will be displayed on the work area 4.2 How to Set Wallem Partners’ Portal as a Trusted Site It is recommended that users add the Wallem Partners’ Portal as a trusted site. 1. This section aims to teach how to view the Excel reports using Microsoft Excel program. Note: It is required that at least Service Pack 1 (SP1) versions of Microsoft Office 2000, 2003, 2007 and XP should be installed on the PC where reports will be viewed. All these versions are compatible with
the reports viewing function of Vessel Accounting. 1. Go to Start > My Computer. A pop-up window will appear 2. It is divided into 2 major groupings: AX Reports and the Offline Reports For AX Reports, the following menus are available for viewing: Commitment, Cost Analysis, Owner Trial Balance, Owners Statement and Others. The Offline Reports, on the other hand, allow the user to view old reports. The cut-off date is displayed on the menu heading itself 5.1 How to access the Vessel Accounting Menu 1. Upon successful log on to the Wallem Partners’ Portal, locate Vessel Accounting under the Account (Reports) menu. Click on Vessel Accounting Figure 4-1 2. Other Excel functions are also available How to set Macro Security in Excel It is normal to get a virus warning when you try to open a report with macro inside. This warning will be shown even though there is no virus If users want to maximize report functionality, the enable macro
option should be selected. Below are steps on how to change Macro settings. For MS Excel 2007: 1. Open Microsoft Excel Click the Office button. 2. Select the Excel Options will appear. button. The Excel Options window 3. Under Popular Options, tick off the Show Developer tab in the Ribbon checkbox. This allows the user to view or hide details of a description group. A report’s number of sheets and content depends on the report type. Possible sheets are: Summary, Drill-Through, Drill-Through
(Actual), Drill-Through (Accrual), Actual (Detailed), and Accrual (Detailed). This displays the Report type, Report period, Vessel Code and other pertinent details. This displays the column names. This allows the user to view Actual details of a particular description. To view the contents, click on an Actual hyperlink and data will be shown on the Drill-Through (Actual) sheet. This allows the user to view Accrual details of a particular description. If value is more than 0, Accrual is displayed as a hyperlink. To view the contents, click on an Accrual hyperlink and the data will be shown on the Drill-Through (Accrual) sheet. This allows the user to scroll the Excel sheet vertically and horizontally. The Location Report allows the user to view the physical location of Accounting-related documents. The Alert Report, on the other hand, allows the user to view which Accounting-related documents have not been uploaded into the system. 6.1 How to access the Imaging Menu 1.
