Hegyvidéki jellegû klímája van, évente 900-1250 mm csapadék esik. Késõbarokk római katolikus temploma 1805-ben épült. Határában a Kis-Hantapatak eltorlaszolásával mesterséges horgász halastavat hoztak létre. A faluhoz közel az erdõ szélén áll a Kisinóci turistaház. Innen erdei út vezet Nagy-Irtás-pusztára egy másik turistaházhoz. Számos turistaút halad a területén keresztül, például az európai kék túra útvonala is.
