Computer and internet Using a computer nowday is necessary for workin offices, companies, hospital, etc. It makes our work faster and can save time for other activities. Knowing computers nowadays is very good if you want to apply for a new job. Information Technology is a school subject in many European countries. In our school there are a lot of computers for the student in the laboratories. There are on-line service as well: you can buy or sell things via the Internet or study languages at home pages run by universities. The basic configuration consists of the CPU, a hard disk, a monitor, a display, a keyboard,mouse, CD-ROM, floppy drivers, etc. Everybody can use the equipment free There are special classes in programming. companies stand behind them and they operate so called web site(home pages) where you can link to other sites to search for information,images, etc. You can type your documents and format them afterwards and print them. You have to check the cables first and click on the OK button to start printing. If you want to send messages urgently, you can use e-mail services on the Internet and get and send to your partner in a very short time. Many children have their own computers for home use. They install games/multimedia programs and spend hour in front of the monitor. They will not play with dolls or balls any more if they have a PC. All in all, computers have revolutionised our lives and we still can’t say that this is the end of their development
