With plenty to do in the area, a day trip isn’t long enough to experience everything, but it’s a great place to start. Time for retail therapy Sherwood Park has the shopping selection of a big city, but with the friendliness and uniqueness of a small town! Enjoy discovering local gems such as K-Lee Boutique or Revolution Boutique and find pieces that will be admired for ages. Spend time in the wilderness If shopping doesn’t excite you, spend some time in the great outdoors! With outdoor programs available such as canoing and disc golf, the Strathcona Wilderness Centre is a great way to get out and spend some

time in the fresh air. Work on your swing Another way to enjoy the beautiful outdoors while staying active is by enjoying a round of golf! Broadmoor Golf Course is found right in the heart of Sherwood Park, and boasts 18 holes which can challenge all golfers regardless of skill. Archival photos of the Smeltzer family, homestead and farm show details of daily life from another era.
